Bridgestone is now officially part of Primex assortment
Primex is now adding Bridgestone trademark to its wide assortment of tyres. For this winter season Primex is offering the prestigious model Blizzak in different modifications for cars, 4x4 and SUVs from 14 to 20 inches.
Bridgestone is trademark number one producing tyres for cars and trucks, buses, agricultural and industrial vehicles, motorcycles and motopedes, even aircrafts. The Company was established in 1931 in Japan and has the name of its founder - Shōjirō Ishibashi, that translated from Japanese, literally means ‘bridge, made of stone’. The number of all Bridgestone employees is more than 140 000 all around the world. Its factories that supply the European market are nine: in Belgium, France, Italy, Poland, Hungary and Spain.
As a worldwide leader Bridgestone supplies tyres as original equipment for most of the biggest car manufacturers in the world: Volkswagen, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, General Motors, Peugeot, Renault, Toyota, Fiat and others. In 2014 Bridgestone announced that they would become the official OE tyre supplier of Mercedes GLA and C-class, as well as for the Lexus NX crossover.
In 1988 Bridgestone introduced their winter tyres Blizzak in Japan and for more than 10 years now the Company is making significant investments in developing winter tyres for the European market. The extraordinary technology of Blizzak is a guarantee for high-level security and excellent performance on winter roads and it has been highly rated by numerous independent resources. In October 2014, the prestigious automobile magazine Autobild ALLRAD had rated the last Blizzak tyre generation – LM001 as “highly recommended” by ADAC and got highest score for its performance on wet road. The tyre SUV Blizzak LM-80 EVO was also rated as “highly-recommended” by the prestigious automobile magazine Autobild ALLRAD for exceptional performance in 2014 winter tests and especially for its performance on snow.
